Oyster Babies Visit the WFC

DSC_0508

The day began pretending to act like a crab and a seagull as the kids dove into learning about the beach.  The group sat down on our picnic tables outside to enjoy the fresh air and beautiful sunshine.  It was a great day to learn about the beach and to spend some time outdoors.  Shells, sand, small rocks and seaweed were in abundant supply for the craft of the day. Everyone was diving in to create their own craft representing what the beach meant to them.  Fortunately there was no shortage in glue as everything they could get their hands on made its way to the plate.

It goes without saying these kids were a ton of fun, and full of all sorts of great questions. We can’t wait until next time!
